Officers from Easington Neighbourhood Policing team have deployed Community Speedwatch equipment in Easington, Grants Houses, South Hetton and Haswell areas as part of Global road safety week.

Community Speedwatch is an educational scheme to help people reduce speeding throughout the community. It helps to raise awareness of the dangers of speeding and helps to control the problem locally.
