Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear NHW Members

Just an update to let you know that your County Durham & Darlington NHW Force Association is now up and running and we have had our second monthly meeting where the following was approved by the committee.
1.    To have our own NHW Welcome Packs produced to be given to all new members signing up to the National NHW Alert System. This will include leaflets/pamphlets and some security items such as Purse Cables, Bells and Credit Card Covers.
2.    Produce County Durham & Darlington NHW Leaflets advising how to sign up to NHW by going on the NHW site:  The leaflet will also give security advise and emergency contact numbers.
The above have been designed and will be put before the committee at our next meeting 28th March 2018 for their approval prior to authorising our printers to produce.
3.   At this time we have planned three road show covering, Darlington, Peterlee and Bishop Auckland. Further details will be published in due course along with other road show details when confirmed.
4.  The Association is happy to do presentations on NHW  to any organisation or small groups. Requests should be sent to: Jim Allen via email: or mobile: 07521 791482.

As you can see we are moving in the right direction and given time will be able to move to the forefront of NHW and once again play a lead role Nationally.

The Association would welcome any comments that you would like to make and if you have a spare hour or two monthly, maybe join our committee, and help us achieve our aim to help provide a safer community for the residence of County Durham & Darlington and in doing so assist the Durham Constabulary.

Thank you for your time.
Jim Allen
