Alert message sent 09/05/2018 08:29:00

Information sent on behalf of Durham Constabulary

Following reports of off-road motorbikes in the Blackhall/ Crimdon area over the weekend, officers are currently collating a list of individuals who will receive a personal visit in order to discuss their involvement in the use of off-road vehicles.

As well as the use of off-road vehicles around Crimdon, investigations are also underway after damage was caused to the Blackhall Monks Junior football pitch on Attlee Avenue, Blackhall.

The use of off-road vehicles is a growing... issue across the county and officers are working with partners to combat this problem through Coastwatch, Op Endurance and other initiatives..

If you have any information relating to off-road vehicles, please contact Police on 101.
