🛻A stolen vehicle was recovered by officers from Derwent Avenue, the suspect driver of this vehicle was also a disqualified driver.
🚨PCSO Lane and PCSO Turnbull attended Willington Primary School to speak to years 5 & 6 about the use of our drone. PCSO Lane did a flight display for the students and discussed why we use the drone; how important the piece of kit is in helping us build intelligence but also how important it is in helping find missing people and suspects. The students loved this and PCSO Lane got a round of applause.
🚓Crook Neighbourhood Team and our Speedwatch Volunteers went out in our local area following reports of speeding.
👮♀️PCSO Smith and PCSO Harrison attended St Stephens Nursery and Primary School to talk to nursery and reception about the role of the Police and to introduce themselves to the students.
🧁PCSO Clark and PCSO Robson attended The Grange Children's Home to do some baking with the residents. This helps us to build a positive rapport with the children.
📍PCSO Whitby has also had the drone up multiple times throughout the month. Regular drone deployments are not only important for our pilots to keep up their experience and hours but also provide us with intelligence and assistance from above when conducting warrants.
