Newton Aycliffe Police Anti-Social Behaviour Update

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗧𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗬𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 🚨

The neighbourhood team were out in the town last night responding to reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and carrying out reassurance patrols to keep the area safe for everyone.

During the evening:

🚨 One female was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage following an incident at Tesco.

📝 One male youth was taken home and reported for driving offences.

🛴 One electric scooter was seized after being used in a way that caused ASB.

🚳 One illegal e-bike was seized, and the rider reported for multiple traffic offences.

We want residents to feel safe and confident in their community. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated, and we will continue to take firm action where behaviour has a negative impact on others.
