Ferryhill Weekly Round-up!

Your weekly update from Ferryhill Neighbourhood Team:

👮‍♂️Whilst officers were conducting enquiries in relation to a serious assault, a male became obstructive with officers and tried preventing them from carrying out their lawful duties and was arrested as a result. 

👮A male was arrested by A/Sgt McGuire for two shop thefts following a very recent release from prison, he was charged and remanded to appear at court where he received a Suspended Sentence Order.

🚁Officers have been deployed to the West of the County to assist with the drone. 

🚗PC Jones and PC Ditchburn responded to a call from a street warden in relation to an intoxicated male drink driving, he was subsequently arrested and was charged and remanded to appear at Court where he received a Suspended Sentence Order also.  

👮‍♀️2 people have been interviewed in relation to shop thefts in the Ferryhill and Chilton area and reported for Court.

👮Officers have also addressed safeguarding concerns regarding a vulnerable female.  

🏦A female wanted for numerous shop thefts in the Ferryhill area was arrested in Durham City, where she was charged and remanded to court and received a custodial sentence of 52 weeks.  

👮‍♀️Our PCSO’s have been assisting CID with CCTV and house to house enquiries in relation to the Attempt Murder in Spennymoor. A man has since been charged with Attempt Murder. 

🚓Officers transported a male to hospital who attended Ferryhill Police Station with injuries.
