"Community, Cops & Crime" Here is what Bishop Auckland Neighbourhood Policing Team have been getting up to…. On Monday, PC Jones and PCSO Atkinson have attended a multi agency meeting to discuss and work together to reduce anti-social behaviour at Tindale Retail Park Also on Monday, PCSO Stephenson & PCSO Robinson were invited to Woodhouse Primary School to have a chat with the early years around "people who can help us" It was lovely engaging with the children and showing them some uniform and around the van. Thank you for having us On Tuesday, PC Jones and PCSO Stephenson have attended St Johns School and Sixth Form College to speak with Year 10's and Year 11's about a Policing career. It was lovely to meet with the students and answer all of their questions On Wednesday, PCSO Stoddart and PC Laycock along with colleagues from DAAC (Durham Agency Against Crime) completed the third and final session with Year 5 students at Prince Bishops Primary School focusing on Anti-Social Behaviour. The students engaged very well! Thank you to Prince Bishops Primary School for letting us speak to the students! No Sun, no problem! PCSO Stoddart and PC Laycock completed high visibility foot patrols on Wednesday afternoon covering 7 miles across Bishop Auckland. On Wednesday evening PC Laycock and PC Moran located and recovered a stolen motorbike close to Newton Cap. Enquiries are ongoing with regards to this incident. Over the weekend, the team have dealt with two prolific shoplifters. Both were charged for shoplifting offences and remanded to court #ZeroTolerance An off-road bike was seized from Woodhouse Close Estate on Sunday after reports of anti-social riding in the area West Auckland PACT meeting on the 28th January @ 18:00hrs.
