Good Morning Keeping in the know,
This is just a little snippet of what your local Shildon Neighbourhood Policing Team have been up to last week:
๐ฅณ Quad Seized - A quad was seized from a male in appeared to be in his late 40s who was driving a childโs quad antisocially, throughout the Jubilee Estate on the road. We know how frustrating nuisance vehicles are for residents โ we will continue to take action and remove them from our streets.
โ๏ธ Shoplifter Arrested โ A suspected shoplifter was quickly located and arrested. We remain committed to protecting our local businesses.
๐ Medical Emergency Response โ Officers assisted ambulance colleagues at a medical incident this week, where CPR was carried out at the scene. Policing isnโt just about crime โ weโre here whenever our community needs us most.
๐ Vehicle Seized โ Drink Drive & No Licence โ A vehicle was seized following a suspected drink driver who was also driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. If you take that risk, expect us to act.
โผ๏ธ Two Arrested for GBH โ Two males have been arrested in connection with a serious assault. Violence in our town will not be tolerated.
๐ฎ๐ฝProactive Patrols โ Multiple stop searches and vehicle searches were carried out across Shildon as part of ongoing disruption activity.
๐ Drugs Seized โ Controlled drugs were recovered during patrols. We will continue targeting those involved in drug activity.
๐ฃ Anti-Social Behaviour - Officers responded to numerous calls reporting youths causing a nuisance to some of our elderly residents. Please can we remind parents to be aware of the whereabouts of their children.
๐ณ Off-Road Bike Seized โ Another off-road bike removed following antisocial riding. We hear your concerns and we are acting on them.
โ Pursuit Aborted โ Officers were involved in a pursuit through Shildon after a driver failed to stop. The pursuit was safely aborted due to an increased risk. Public safety will always come first.
