Retail Crime PCSOs Burnip and Connah spotted a male running from a local shop with stolen alcohol. They quickly stopped him, recovered the goods, and held him until PCs Robson, Guy and Curtis arrived. The male was taken into custody, interviewed, and charged with the shoplifting offence.PCs Curtis and Guy arrested a male in the Lanchester area for theft. He was interviewed and later charged with the offence.While on foot patrol, PC Guy along with PCSOs Burnip and Walker were alerted to a group of youths who had just stolen from a local shop. They were stopped and searched, stolen goods were recovered, and the youths will now be interviewed regarding the offences.Assault PC Guy and PC Curtis arrested a male for assault following on from a domestic incident, suspect is now in custody and awaiting interview.Anti-social Behaviour PCSOs Walker and Burnip, alongside Durham County Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour Officer, had two youths attend the station and issued Anti-Social Behaviour Contracts following recent incidents across Consett.Rural Matters Sgt Jermey and PCSO Hart attended a rural strategy meeting at HQ to discuss how the strategy will be implemented.Engagement PCSOs Connah, Walker and Burnip, along with their Community Safety Coordinator Tia, visited The Grove and Delves Lane Primary School to deliver an internet safety talk to pupils.PCSO Dixon hosted a mini police session at Ebchester Primary School.PCSO Dixon also popped along to a lovely coffee morning in Hamsterley to chat with residents.Events Coming Up – come say hello!
