𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡-𝐮𝐩 Another busy week for the team, here's a quick snapshot of what we have been up to! (sorry for the delay): Male charged with theft of a motor vehicle CPS charging advice received following a warrant relating to possession with intent to supply a Class B drug. Court date pending. Laser pen seized in the town centre following reports of youth nuisance. Male arrested for breach of court bail. Male arrested for shoplifting. Traffic officers engaged in a pursuit from Eldon to Shildon, which was safely concluded. The vehicle was found to have cloned number plates and the driver was arrested for numerous traffic offences. Drone utilised to assist officers with searching for and locating a missing-from-home. Drone utilised for intelligence gathering to support policing activity. Individual arrested for failing to provide a roadside breath test. Male arrested in connection with non-fatal strangulation. Officers attended the Jubilee Fields Community Centre celebrations fun day, engaging with members of the local community. Male arrested for assault. Female interviewed in connection with an ABH offence. Wanted female located after failing to appear and subsequently put before the courts. Female arrested following an arson incident in the Shildon locality. Stolen vehicle located and seized. Officers from Shildon assisted with a warrant in Newton Aycliffe, which concluded with a successful arrest. Off-road bike seized and the rider reported for relevant offences. Officers assisted ambulance crews with MOE (Method of Entry) to gain access to premises, allowing medical assistance to be provided. A male attended an interview following an incident of threats to cause criminal damage – the male subsequently received a police caution.
