Under Age Drinking plus Child and Young Person Abuse

Alert message sent 14/10/2018 15:13:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear Neighbourhood Watch Network Members
Under age drinking is on the increase and i would like to remind you that it is an offence to purchase or sell alcohol to people under the age of eighteen. (see attached leaflet)  Should you see children being sold alcohol, people buying them alcohol, or indeed children drinking alcohol then please report this to the police as outlined in the leaflet.
I would also like to reiterate that it is our duty to report if you see or think that a child or young person is being abused. Please refer to attached leaflets for what action you should take.
Even if you are not sure please report what you see. Better to be safe than have a child or young person continually abused.
Thank you for reading this and all that you do for Neighbourhood Watch Network.

Kind regards
Jim Allen
