Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear Neighbourhood Watch Network Member
There has been an increasing problem of Anti Social Behaviour within some areas of County Durham & Darlington.
Elderly people with 'Key Safes' by their front/back doors are having them tampered with, making it a serious matter if Care Line personnel are unable to gain entry.
Children as young eight (8) years old are being used to knock on doors of disabled vulnerable elderly persons, demanding their prescription drugs from a list of 'drug wants' by drug dealers. They are usually accompanied by a minder, either older youth or adult who stands at the gate to the property prompting youngsters to go to the doors.
If you see any of the above happening or are suspicious of any activity like this please report to the police on 101. Thank you.
Regards
Jim Allen
