Help us grow Keep In The Know

Alert message sent 16/03/2021 13:47:00

Information sent on behalf of Durham Constabulary

Can you help us to grow our numbers on Keep In The Know??

Why not recommend Keep In The Know to friends, family, neighbours or work colleagues who live or work in County Durham & Darlington.
Please don't put yourself at risk by doing this face to face, but why not forward this message to them (see attached flyer)

Our free Neighbourhood Alert messaging system will keep them updated on crime and what is going on in their local area.

By signing up they will receive regular crime updates, hear about community initiatives, witness appeals, find out about general policing activity and also receive regular scam alerts.

They will have the option to take part in short PACT surveys (Police And Communities Together) to let us know about any issues affecting them.

When someone signs up to Keep In The Know, they will be given the option to indicate if they have CCTV or a Ring Doorbell (or similar system) installed at their home address. When a crime occurs, or there is a missing person in their area, they may be contacted to see if they can provide invaluable help.

Our communities play a crucial part in helping us prevent and detect crime and anti-social behaviour and protect vulnerable people which is why we would like to increase our numbers.

Keep In The Know is a two way communication system, so there is an option to reply to our alerts and even rate the messages received.

However, please note that Keep In The Know is NOT for reporting crimes or incidents.

Registration is quick and simple.
To sign up, just visit http://www.keepintheknow.co.uk but don't forget to click on the verification link in the Neighbourhood Alert email to confirm that we have the correct email address.

Once you are part of Keep In The Know, you can unsubscribe or change your settings at any time.

Thank you for your support everyone !!!
