Due to Coronavirus, people are spending more time online. this means more opportiuntie4s for hackers to carry out cyber attacks. They often target people using emails, website scams, malware (software that can damage your device or let a hacker in).

Six actions you can take to improve your security:
1. Use a strong and separate password for your email.
2. Create strong passwords using 3 random words i.e. Red54Sugar76Sky@
3. Save passwords in your browser. Safari, Chrome and Edge can remember your passwords for you.
4. Turn on two-factor authentication which helps to stop hackers from getting into your accounts, even if they have your password, it does this by asking for more information to prove your identity, such as a code that gets sent to your phone.
5. Keep your devices updated. Turn on automatic updates for your devices.
6. Back up your data online i.e. iCloud or Samsung Storage etc.
